Part Timer - Dishwasher

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and responsible Part-Time Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join The Shin Table team.

You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and well-organised kitchen while supporting the kitchen and service teams during daily operations. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, good work ethic, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dishwashing area, kitchen floors, sinks, and workspaces.

Ensure clean dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly stored.

Assist the kitchen team with general cleaning and housekeeping duties.

Dispose of rubbish and follow proper waste-sorting procedures.

Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.

Assist with receiving, moving, and storing kitchen supplies when required.

Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Follow workplace safety procedures and company standards.

Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or management.

Requirements

Previous experience in dishwashing, kitchen operations, or cleaning is preferred but not essential.

Reliable, punctual, and responsible.

Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods.

Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.

Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.

Willing to work part-time shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Hours

Part-time position

12.30pm to 3pm(sometime 3.30pm)

6.30pm to9.30pm (sometime 10pm)

Weekend and public holiday availability may be required
