Assistant Finance Manager (Consolidation / Reporting)

An established organisation is seeking an experienced finance professional to support its Singapore finance function. The role will be responsible for the full set of accounts, group consolidation, financial reporting and statutory compliance, with exposure to cash flow management and other corporate finance matters.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Manage the full set of accounts for the Singapore entity, ensuring accurate and timely financial records and reporting.
• Handle monthly group consolidation and subgroup financial reporting, including preparation of supporting schedules and analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring appropriate reconciliations and accounting adjustments are completed.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow, working capital and other financial schedules to support effective financial management.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory reporting requirements, including GST and XBRL filing.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors and other external parties on accounting, reporting and statutory matters.
• Support the preparation of financial analysis and management reports, highlighting key variances and financial trends.
• Assist with finance-related projects and process improvements as required.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• A degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Candidates with external audit experience and strong technical accounting fundamentals are welcome to apply.
• Good knowledge of full-set accounting, group consolidation, financial reporting and Singapore statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to communicate and liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
