Got it — as a job ad, the current copy has good personality, but it’s quite long and repeats the same ideas. I’d make it more concise, polished, and recruitment-focused while keeping Monk’s Brew Club’s warm, collaborative personality.

YOUR ROLE

As a Barista, you’ll be an integral part of our growing team. You’ll work closely with our Head Brewista to deliver consistently excellent espresso, filter coffee and other specialty brews, while bringing your own creativity and ideas to the table.

You’ll have opportunities to:

Prepare and serve consistently excellent coffee and beverages

Create beautiful latte art and take pride in every cup

Learn and refine different brewing techniques and coffee preparation methods

Develop a deeper understanding of coffee beans, blends and flavour profiles

Operate and maintain coffee equipment to a high standard

Learn proper troubleshooting and preventive maintenance procedures

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Has 4–7 years of barista experience

Takes genuine pride in coffee-making and craftsmanship

Has a strong interest in specialty coffee and brewing

Is eager to learn, experiment and continuously improve

Enjoys sharing knowledge and collaborating with others

Is detail-oriented and committed to consistency

Wants to grow with a fun, dynamic and forward-thinking team
