Recruitment Specialist (1 Year Contract)

Salary: $2,800 per month

Contract: 1-year contract

Working Location: PLQ

Working Hours: 8.15am–5.45pm, Monday to Friday

Weekend work may occasionally be required for recruitmentfairs, walk-in interviews or hiring events. Time off will be provided whereapplicable.

Job Description

We arelooking for a Recruitment Specialist to support high-volumerecruitment and hiring activities, particularly for non-executive andoperational positions. The role will be responsible for managing therecruitment process from candidate sourcing through to onboarding and will workclosely with hiring teams to meet recruitment requirements and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment cycle, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, salary discussion, offer coordination and onboarding.

Source candidates through various recruitment platforms and channels, including JobStreet, MyCareersFuture, FastJobs and other suitable sourcing channels.

Review applications, conduct candidate screening and arrange interviews with candidates and hiring teams.

Handle a high volume of vacancies and candidates while working towards monthly recruitment targets.

Participate in recruitment fairs, walk-in interviews, hiring drives and other mass recruitment activities, including occasional weekend events.

Build and maintain good relationships with candidates and ensure timely follow-up throughout the recruitment process.

Coordinate document collection and pre-onboarding requirements for selected candidates.

Conduct onboarding orientation and induction for new employees when required.

Maintain accurate recruitment records and prepare personnel documentation prior to onboarding.

Track recruitment activities and key performance indicators, and assist with recruitment reports and updates.

Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand hiring requirements, provide recruitment updates and resolve recruitment-related issues promptly.

Explore and implement different sourcing approaches to attract suitable candidates and support hiring needs.

Perform other recruitment and HR-related duties or ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.

At least 2 years of relevant experience in high-volume or mass recruitment is preferred.

Strong candidate sourcing, screening and interviewing skills, with experience using online job portals and recruitment platforms.

Able to manage multiple vacancies and a large candidate pool in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.

Proactive, resourceful and willing to explore different recruitment methods to attract candidates.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Familiarity with ATS / recruitment systems and Microsoft Office applications will be an advantage.

Knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and fair employment practices.

Meticulous, organised and able to manage work independently with minimal supervision.

Comfortable supporting recruitment events and working on weekends when required.

Strong follow-up skills with the ability to manage candidates effectively throughout the recruitment process.
