Head, Digital Services

The Head, Digital Services leads a team of two and is responsible for LLSG's IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance and enterprise systems. This is a hands-on leadership role that oversees infrastructure, applications and end-user services through a combination of internal resources and managed service providers.

1. Cybersecurity, Data & Systems Governance

Lead LLSG's cybersecurity programme, including risk management, security controls, vulnerability management and incident response.

Maintain information security policies, controls and risk registers, and oversee Cyber Trust Mark certification and renewals.

Oversee identity and access management, endpoint and email security, data loss prevention, and staff security awareness initiatives.

Review vendor security assessments, vulnerability assessment and penetration test (VA/PT) reports, and audit findings, ensuring timely remediation.

Partner with the Data Protection Officer to implement the technical controls required for PDPA compliance.

Lead LLSG's data governance framework, including data ownership, classification, quality, retention and data-sharing practices.

Establish and maintain systems governance standards covering system ownership, change management, access reviews, and system lifecycle management.

Report cybersecurity, data governance and technology risks to senior management and the Board.

2. Network & Infrastructure

Oversee LLSG's network, firewalls, Wi-Fi, servers, cloud services, backup systems and campus technology infrastructure.

Define infrastructure standards and review major technical changes, including network architecture and firewall configurations.

Lead infrastructure upgrades, technology refresh initiatives and capacity planning.

Ensure high system availability and maintain effective backup, disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements.

Serve as the escalation point for major infrastructure, network and cybersecurity incidents.

3. Applications & End-User Services

Oversee enterprise applications, Microsoft 365, IT helpdesk operations and device lifecycle management.

Evaluate new technologies and systems for security, architecture, scalability and integration requirements.

Support the adoption of digital and AI solutions while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and data protection requirements.

Drive continuous improvements to user experience, service delivery and operational efficiency.

4. Team & Vendor Management

Lead, coach and develop the Digital Services team, fostering both technical capability and professional growth.

Manage IT vendors, managed service providers, software licensing, contracts and procurement activities.

Monitor vendor performance and ensure service levels and contractual obligations are met.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.

At least 10 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity or related technology functions, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Hands-on experience managing networks, firewalls, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Good knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as Cyber Trust Mark, ISO/IEC 27001, PDPA and IT governance practices.

Experience managing IT vendors and managed service providers.

Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNA/CCNP or Microsoft Azure certifications will be an advantage.

Comfortable operating in a hands-on role within a lean team environment.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts and risks clearly to non-technical audiences, including senior management and Board members.

Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for an extension or be placed on a permanent tenure.
