KITCHEN ASSISTANT (厨房助理)

About the Role: Support our kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, preparing ingredients, and ensuring smooth back-of-house functions. This role is ideal for individuals starting their F&B career or seeking stable employment in a growing restaurant group.

Location: Far East Square Near Telok Ayer / Chinatown MRT

AM: 10am to 10pm (inclusive 2-hour break)

PM: 5pm to 3am(inclusive 1 hour break)

PM Sat and PH EVE: 6pm to 4am (inclusive 1 hour break)

6 Days work week

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in basic food preparation: washing, cutting, peeling, and portioning ingredients

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces

Ensure proper storage and stock rotation of food supplies

Dispose of waste according to SFA hygiene regulations

Support cooks during service periods with ingredient replenishment

Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards

Perform general kitchen maintenance and cleaning duties

Requirements

No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided

WSQ Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain within first month)

Physically fit with ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-oriented

Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Basic understanding of kitchen safety preferred
