You will be part of a team responsible for the public transport fare policy review, as well as carrying out the regulatory and licensing functions.
This will include conducting research and analysis on public transport fare policies, developments and practices in Singapore and overseas, engaging stakeholders and industry players to develop policy options to ensure fare affordability and financial sustainability for the public transport system, performing statistical analysis and drafting policy papers.
You will also work closely with stakeholders and other government agencies in the role. You will also undertake other duties, such as handling of feedback and enquiries, as assigned by your supervisor.
What we are looking for
Requirements
Degree, preferably in Economics or any related discipline;
Keen interest or experience in economics or finance, and practical experience in research, formulation and development of public policies;
With knowledge and experience in statistical analysis and/or Structured Query Language (SQL);
Meticulous with strong analytical, writing and presentation skills;
Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills; and
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, work independently and with others under pressure.
Working schedule: Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30 am – 6.00 pm; Fridays: 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
Work location: Alexandra Road
Contract Period: 6 months
Salary: $4000 to $7000 (Point to note: The range is just an indicative for reference; we will evaluate each candidate and remunerate accordingly.)
