Accounts Executive

Job Responsibilities

Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR and General Ledger.

Process monthly payroll for local and foreign workers.

Prepare and submit annual employment income records to IRAS under AIS by the required deadline.

Calculate overtime, allowances, deductions, CPF, SDL, FWL and other payroll items.

Handle construction project accounting and costing.

Process and monitor subcontractor claims, progress claims, and payment certificates.

Verify invoices, purchase orders, variation orders and supporting documents.

Monitor retention sums, outstanding payments and project-related receivables.

Prepare bank reconciliation, payment schedules and month-end closing.

Handle GST matters and assist with annual audit and tax requirements.

Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with project profitability analysis.

Liaise with project managers, quantity surveyors, subcontractors, suppliers, auditors and relevant authorities.

Maintain accurate accounting, payroll and project records.

Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Diploma/LCCI in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.

Minimum 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience & HR experience

Relevant construction industry experience is preferred.

Experience with subcontractor claims, progress claims, retention sums and project costing is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software & payroll software

Good attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.

Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Immediate starters or candidates with short notice are preferred.

Singaporean/PR preferred.
