Test Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to design and execute test cases, track defects and support UAT and system testing efforts, ensuring the quality and reliability of software releases.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, document, and execute test cases and test scenarios for functional, system, regression, integration and UAT testing.

•Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution using JIRA and/or ALM, ensuring clear and complete documentation.

•Validate data accuracy and business logic using SQL queries against application databases.

•Support reporting and test metrics tracking using Power BI and/or Tableau.

•Perform API testing and validation using Postman and SOAP UI.

•Support testing of message-driven and event-based systems using Kafka, where applicable.

•Maintain test documentation, test plans and knowledge-sharing artefacts in Confluence.

•Coordinate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve testing issues.

•Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the testing process.

Mandatory Skills

•Manual Testing, System Testing, and UAT.

•Test Case Design and Defect Tracking (JIRA, ALM).

•SQL for data validation.

•Power BI and Tableau for reporting.

•Postman and SOAP UI for API testing.

•Kafka (working knowledge).

•Confluence for documentation and collaboration.

•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

•Business Analyst experience — Requirement Gathering, BRD/FSD and User Stories.

•Banking domain experience.

Requirements

•2 - 4 years of experience in Manual Testing, including Functional, Regression, Integration and UAT testing.

•Hands-on experience with JIRA for defect tracking, test execution and issue management.

•Proficient in using Confluence for test documentation, knowledge sharing and project collaboration.

•Experience in creating and executing test cases and test scenarios with clear defect documentation and reporting.

•Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle(STLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Good analytical, communication and stakeholder coordination skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality software.
