Backend Developer with Hadoop

Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend applications using  Java, Spring Boot and Spring Framework.

Design and develop  REST APIs  for large-scale applications.

Work with the  Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS and related technologies.

Build and support applications running on  distributed data platforms.

Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning and production support.

Work with  Linux/Unix environments and Shell scripting.

Collaborate with development and support teams to resolve technical issues.

Use  Git, Bitbucket and Jira  for source control and project tracking.

Support  storage platform migration and modernization  initiatives where required.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience in  Java backend development.

Good experience with  Spring Boot / Spring Framework.

Strong experience in  REST API development.

Good knowledge of  Hadoop ecosystem, HDFS and distributed data platforms.

Experience working with  large-scale applications and high-volume data environments.

Hands-on experience with  Linux and Shell scripting.

Experience with  Git, Bitbucket and Jira.

Strong troubleshooting and  performance tuning  skills.

Experience in  production support.

Experience with  storage migration/modernization projects  is an advantage.
