STOREKEEPER

We are looking for a  responsible, organised and hands-on Storekeeper  to support our day-to-day warehouse operations.

The role involves receiving, storing, handling and preparing wood-based materials, including veneer and plywood. The successful candidate should be careful with materials, attentive to details and committed to maintaining accurate stock records and a well-organised warehouse.

Job Responsibilities

Receive incoming shipments and check materials against delivery documents, quantities and specifications.

Inspect incoming materials and report any shortage, damage or discrepancy.

Store, arrange, label and identify materials properly within designated warehouse locations.

Pick, pack and prepare materials accurately according to customer orders and delivery requirements.

Handle veneer, plywood and other wood-based materials carefully to prevent damage during storage, handling and preparation.

Ensure physical stock quantities are accurate and tally with inventory records.

Check returned materials to ensure the quantity, specification and condition are correct before returning them to stock.

Assist with loading, unloading and movement of materials within the warehouse.

Operate the forklift safely for the movement and storage of materials.

Maintain proper warehouse organisation and ensure materials are stored safely and systematically.

Assist with regular stock counts and inventory checks.

Report stock discrepancies, damaged materials or other warehouse-related issues promptly.

Maintain a clean, safe and orderly warehouse environment.

Follow company safety procedures and warehouse operating requirements.

Coordinate with the operations and supply chain team on stock movements, order preparation and deliveries.

Perform other reasonable warehouse and operational duties as required.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in storekeeping, warehousing, inventory handling or a similar role is preferred.

Valid Forklift Licence is required.

Singapore  Class 3/3A Driving Licence  will be an advantage.

Physically fit and comfortable handling and moving plywood, veneer and other wood materials.

Careful, responsible and systematic, with good attention to stock quantities, product specifications and material condition.

Able to identify and follow different product codes, sizes, specifications and storage locations accurately.

Good sense of warehouse organisation and housekeeping.

Able to work independently and take responsibility for assigned duties.

Able to work effectively as part of a warehouse and operations team.

Basic English communication skills required.

Ability to communicate in Chinese will be an advantage where required for operational coordination.
