technical and engineering lead for middleware

·        Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

·        Skilled Middleware professional with at least 18+ years’ experience in information technology and at least 15+ years hands-on experience on middleware web hosting and application server products in a large organization preferably banking environment

·        Solid knowledge in administering IBM middleware products i.e. WebSphere and Web Logic Application Server, WebSphere Portal, WebSphere Process Server, Web Sphere Liberty, WebLogic Forms and Reports, IHS (IBM HTTP Server)

·        Experience in IT security compliance and implementation and use of security protocols (SSL, Server certificates etc.)

·        Good experience using WAS Scripting, J2EE, XML, SQL and Shell/Perl Scripting.

·        Experience with Unix system administration and TCP/IP networking

·        Familiarity of Compliance and risk management frameworks and methodologies (ISO27002,SDLC).

·        Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills

·        Handson experience on at least one public cloud such as AWS, Azure or GCP

·        Success attributes include initiative, the ability to perform under pressure, strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills as well as analytical problem-solving abilities

·        Self-motivated and can work autonomously

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with internal customers and team members

·        Proficiency in working on Linux/Unix and Windows system

·        Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive Middleware disaster recovery plans and end-to-end runbooks for complex infrastructure platform operations

·        Managing support services and change management using ServiceNow

·        Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Spinnaker

·        Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform such as write, test, and deploy clean, reusable Terraform modules.

·        Certification in Public cloud and Middleware products is desirable.
