Ship Boarding Officer

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and process port and immigration formalities, declarations and vessel clearances.

Take responsibility for operational matters and documentation relating to assigned vessels.

Coordinate bunkering, husbandry services, crew changes, surveyors and suppliers.

Arrange transportation for crew members between vessels, airports and other locations.

Provide timely updates on vessel schedules, prospects and work progress to all relevant parties.

Maintain good relationships with customers, shipowners, operators and service providers.

Attend vessels physically at Singapore ports and anchorages when required.

Requirements

Relevant experience in shipping agency or vessel operations.

Good knowledge of port and immigration regulations, procedures and tariffs.

Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays, according to vessel arrival and departure schedules.

Able to work under pressure and respond promptly to operational requirements.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Good coordination, communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.

Candidates who can commence work at short notice will have an advantage.
