SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary) – September 2026 Start Barnsley Area | Full-Time | 1-Year Supply Contract

Are you a caring, patient and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

We are recruiting several SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Barnsley area from September 2026.

The Role You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

• Autism (ASC)
• ADHD
• Speech & Language Needs
• SEMH Needs
• Learning Difficulties

Support may be delivered on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or within the classroom alongside the teacher.

We Are Looking For • Experience working with children with SEN, either in education, care or support settings

• A patient, positive and resilient attitude
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed
