Accounts Semi Senior

The successful candidate will work closely with Managers and Partners across a varied client portfolio, gaining broad exposure to accounts preparation and other core practice work, while receiving structured support towards further qualification and career progression.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
• Building strong working relationships with clients
• Supporting senior members of the team on more complex assignments
• Working towards agreed deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• AAT qualified, or part qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent), studying towards full qualification
• Strong working knowledge of accounts preparation software
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive, organised approach with good attention to detail
