- Friday 7am- 3:30pm PT (overtime opportunities are available) How will you make an impact? As part of a dynamic Quality Assurance team, you’ll contribute to the daily flow of materials and product through the site and provide support to our Operations partners. Our products research use only (RUO) and are primarily fluorescent in nature, support the life sciences market, and are specific to protein and cellular analysis. What will you do? Ability to perform receiving and finished goods inspections, including visual inspection, dimensional or weight checks, verification against specifications, and other defined inspection activities. Ability to perform approved QC testing required for incoming materials and/or finished. Ability to independently execute established test methods, work instructions, specifications, and SOPs and accurately evaluate results against predefined acceptance criteria. Working knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ability to maintain complete, accurate, attributable, and traceable quality records. Working knowledge of quality systems and regulated documentation practices. Ability to properly handle, prepare, identify, and document samples used for inspection and QC testing. Experience with laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation applicable to assigned testing is preferred. Ability to perform routine equipment checks, verification, and/or calibration activities as defined by approved procedures. Familiarity with analytical techniques such as UV-Vis spectroscopy, HPLC, ICP-MS, or other applicable laboratory methods is preferred based on the testing assigned to the position. Ability to recognize abnormal, unexpected, or out-of-specification results and appropriately escalate them according to established procedures. Understanding of laboratory safety requirements, PPE, chemical handling, and good laboratory practices. Ability to become trained and qualified on additional inspection and analytical test methods as business needs evolve. How will you get here? Education High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific/technical field preferred. 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Receiving Inspection, Manufacturing Quality, or a related regulated environment preferred. Experience working in a biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environment preferred. Previous exposure to ISO 9001, cGMP, GLP, or other applicable quality/regulatory requirements preferred. Previous experience performing laboratory, analytical, or product quality testing is strongly preferred Thank you for your interest as you consider starting a new career journey with us.
