Bar Manager

The Bar Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the hotel bar, managing staff, stock and service, and ensuring a high standard of customer experience.

Duties

Manage the day-to-day operation of the hotel bar.

Supervise and support bar staff.

Prepare staff rotas and manage staffing levels.

Maintain high standards of customer service, hygiene and presentation.

Manage stock, ordering and deliveries.

Handle cash and daily bar procedures.

Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety requirements.

Deal with customer queries and complaints.

Work closely with hotel management and other departments.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory/management role.

Good customer service and communication skills.

Ability to manage and motivate staff.

Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
