Job Summary

Job Title: Procurement Engineer II

Industry: Semiconductor / Electronics Testing Equipment

Location: Serangoon, Singapore

Working Hours: 5-day work week, 8:30AM–5:30PM

Salary Package: AWS + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities

Supporting sourcing activities for Engineering and High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) projects involving mechanical and electrical components.

Reviewing and interpreting technical specifications, engineering drawings, and project requirements to support accurate sourcing decisions.

Evaluating suppliers based on both technical capabilities and commercial considerations before awarding business.

Identifying and mitigating technical, supply, and procurement risks, especially for critical or long-lead components.

Driving cost reduction initiatives through supplier consolidation, alternative sourcing, value engineering, and other strategies.

Ensuring sourcing activities comply with internal policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Supporting improvements in sourcing processes, supplier onboarding, and digital procurement tools.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline.

2+ years of Engineering Sourcing / Procurement experience is preferred.

Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.

Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good stakeholder and supplier management skills.

Collaborative team player with a high level of accountability and ownership.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
