Staff Nurse – Welfare Home

Location: Woodlands/Buangkok

8 - 12 hour shift depending on location.

Required to work weekends and public holidays

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Daily Duties

·       Carry out preventive and curative medical services under the guidance of the doctor and head nurse

·       Oversee the general health of the residents, participate in and supervise medical and nursing care routine

·       Supervise and assess the performance of nursing aides and health attendants

·       Assist and carry out emergency situations in the Home.

Requirements

·       Candidate must possess at least a diploma, degree, professional degree in Nursing or equivalent.

·       Candidate must be a State Registered Nurse with a valid certificate by the Singapore Nursing Board.

·       Ability to carry out preventive and curative medical services under the guidance of the doctor and head nurse.

·       Ability to act accordingly in medical emergencies.

·       Ability to monitor vital Signs.

·       Ability to assist in residents personal grooming and personal hygiene issues.
