QUALITY SPECIALIST – LOGISTICS / WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS

We are hiring a Quality Specialist on behalf of our client, GXO, a global logistics and supply chain organisation.

This is a hands-on quality role suitable for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, inspection or a related operational environment.

The successful candidate will support day-to-day quality inspections, identify non-conformance issues and work closely with the operations team to ensure products, materials and processes meet the required quality and safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct inspections, testing and sampling of materials, parts and products to identify defects or deviations from specifications
• Monitor operational and production processes to ensure compliance with required quality standards
• Identify quality issues and communicate inspection findings to the relevant operations teams
• Support corrective actions and follow up on quality-related issues
• Identify, segregate and reject products or materials that do not meet required specifications
• Carry out NCR (Non-Conformance Report) data collection, including photo documentation and supporting records
• Maintain accurate quality inspection records, reports and logs
• Track quality metrics such as defects, rework, rejected products and wastage
• Input and maintain quality-related information in the relevant database or system
• Review operational procedures and processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements
• Work closely with internal teams to support continuous improvement and maintain quality standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum ITE / NITEC qualification or equivalent
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, inspection, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse or a related environment
• Comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment
• Able to identify defects and follow established quality procedures
• Detail-oriented with good documentation and record-keeping skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good communication skills and able to work effectively with operations teams
