Position Title: Shipping Assistant

Working Location: Woodlands

Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 6.00pm; Sat, 9.00am - 12.00pm)

Salary Package: Basic salary up to $3,500 + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

Manage shipment documents, such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading, to support smooth customs clearance

Coordinate with the warehouse team on import and export shipment preparation, including cargo pick-up and shipping marks

Liaise with freight forwarders on cargo space and shipment arrangements

Resolve issues or discrepancies that may occur during the shipping process

Handle order changes, cancellations, returns, and exchange requests

Monitor and follow up on shipment status

Advise the sales department on freight costs

Monitor shipping costs and look for cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field

Experience with import/export regulations and customs procedures
