Sales Engineer (Control & Automation)

Location: Tai Seng, Singapore

Salary: Basic salary up to $4,500 + $1,000 Transport Allowance + Quarterly Commission

Working hours: Mon to Fri, 830am-530pm

Job Description

Our client is looking for a driven Sales Engineer to join their team and manage customers within the Control & Automation sectors.

You will be responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying business opportunities and providing suitable engineering solutions to meet customers’ requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

Identify new sales opportunities within the Oil & Gas or Control & Automation industries.

Understand customers’ technical requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions.

Prepare and deliver product and solution presentations to customers.

Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations and technical discussions.

Prepare quotations, proposals and other sales-related documentation.

Follow up with customers on enquiries, quotations and projects to drive sales closure.

Work closely with internal technical and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.

Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

Sales experience within any engineering field is required.

Experience in B2B technical sales, engineering solutions or industrial products will be an advantage.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present technical solutions to customers.

Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Must possess own transport and be willing to travel to meet customers.

Self-motivated, results-oriented and comfortable working independently.
