Chemical Process Engineer

Our esteemed client in the Environmental Services industry is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to join their dynamic team:

Employment Type: Permanent

Position: Chemical Process Engineer

Location: Tuas (Transport provided)

Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm

Salary Package: Up to $4,500 + Transport Allowance* + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

Analyse, evaluate, and improve plant processes to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.

Monitor process performance, interpret operational data, and support digital process monitoring systems.

Conduct risk assessments and recommend process improvements.

Develop, implement, and optimise operating procedures and process documentation.

Support plant operations, maintenance activities, and process troubleshooting.

Participate in process safety initiatives, including risk studies and safety management activities.

Coordinate process improvement projects, plant shutdown planning, and implementation of new operational procedures.

Ensure projects are completed within established timelines and budgets.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 2 years of experience in a process plant, chemical manufacturing, or industrial operations environment.

Knowledge of process optimisation, safety management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
