Qualified Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Provide full-time site supervision for transmission equipment installation works.

Supervise GIS, transformer, relay installation, testing and commissioning activities.

Monitor heavy lifting, work-at-height, gas/oil circulation and equipment mobilisation activities.

Ensure contractors comply with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, project safety requirements and applicable regulations.

Review Method Statements, Safe Work Procedures and Risk Assessments before commencement of works.

Conduct Toolbox Meetings and monitor daily site activities.

Verify workers' safety passes, WAH passes, lifting certificates and other required documentation.

Identify and report safety lapses, incidents, near misses and non-compliance.

Prepare site records, checklists and weekly site management/safety reports.

Attend project and progress meetings as required.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in projects of a similar nature.

Valid Supervisor Construction Work in Workplace Safety and Health certification.

Good knowledge of electrical/substation installation and site safety requirements.

Able to work independently and provide full-time site supervision.

Able to travel to multiple location island-wide, including Jurong Island.

Must be able to support day/night works, Sundays and Public Holidays when required.
