Job Description

About the opportunity

A well-established organisation is seeking a qualified lawyer to join its in-house legal team. This is a strong opportunity for lawyers currently in private practice who are looking to make their first move in-house and gain broad commercial exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including NDAs, service, supplier and customer contracts.
• Provide practical and commercially focused legal advice.
• Support corporate, regulatory and compliance matters.
• Assist with claims, disputes and the management of external counsel.
• Maintain legal templates, contract records and internal approval processes.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across different business functions.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer admitted in Singapore or another recognised common-law jurisdiction.
• Less than 4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Relevant commercial or corporate experience gained in private practice and/or an in-house role.
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Commercially minded, organised and keen to understand the business.
• Lawyers seeking their first move from private practice into an in-house role are strongly encouraged to apply.
