Job Summary

The Project Engineer (Geotechnical) will coordinate site activities, ensure technical compliance, and support project delivery from planning through execution across multiple geotechnical projects.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring geotechnical works to ensure timely and compliant project progress

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth project workflows

Prepare detailed technical reports, method statements, and documentation to secure project approvals and maintain records

Conduct site inspections and supervise geotechnical activities to enforce safety standards and quality control

Support instrumentation monitoring by collecting, interpreting, and reporting data to inform engineering decisions

Manage project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and track deliverables to meet project milestones

Develop and implement engineering solutions to address site challenges and optimize construction processes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field

1–3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering or construction projects (fresh graduates may apply)

Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and construction processes

Proficient communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks independently

Knowledge of local codes, safety regulations, and project documentation requirements
