Our established private healthcare client is looking for a Patient Service Associate to join their team!

Central location accessible by public transport

3 rotating shift, 5 days across Mon-Sun

Yearly AWS + Performance Bonus

Responsibilities

Act as the initial point of contact for inquiries through phone, online, and walk-in channels; coordinate appointments for consultations, lab tests, and imaging, while promptly escalating critical symptoms to the triage nurse.

Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information, maintaining accurate patient records in accordance with institutional policies.

Manage billing processes including payment collection (cash/e-payment), corporate billing, and reconciliation while clearly communicating service charges to patients and their families.

Handle patient feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues to supervisors as required and supporting improvement measures for service quality.

Ensure compliance with quality standards by maintaining accurate records and supporting audit documentation in alignment with data protection regulations.

Perform general administrative tasks, including managing reports, correspondence, and inventory tracking, and providing feedback to vendors as needed.

Work on rotating shifts, ensuring punctual attendance, conducting proper handovers, and upholding service standards during busy periods.

Support team efforts by covering for colleagues during their absences, participating in cross-training, and taking on additional shifts when necessary, following management approval.

Requirements

Minimum N/O Level, Nitec or Diploma in a relevant field (Healthcare, Business Administration, or related areas).

A minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, hospitality, or customer service, preferably with front-desk administration or billing experience.

Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain composure under pressure

Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email, and patient/billing systems).

Detail-oriented and meticulous with a focus on billing accuracy and compliance documentation.

Willingness to work on rotating shifts, including overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
