Lead, Service Asset & Configuration Management

Join Maybank Singapore to lead the enterprise Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) function, owning strategy, standards, and operations for a trusted source of technology service assets and configuration items.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of the Bank's SACM strategy and roadmap to enhance technology asset governance

Establish and maintain a comprehensive, authoritative inventory of service assets across hardware, software, cloud, cryptographic, open-source, and third-party components

Drive asset discovery, data reconciliation, and remediation processes to improve asset visibility and ensure high data quality

Oversee asset lifecycle governance including onboarding, maintenance, and decommissioning to ensure compliance and operational efficiency

Lead automation initiatives and manage the implementation and optimization of ServiceNow CMDB and ITAM capabilities to streamline asset management

Develop and monitor governance metrics, key risk indicators (KRIs), and reporting frameworks to support audit and regulatory compliance

Collaborate with Technology, Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, and business stakeholders to strengthen asset management practices bank-wide

Sustain SACM capabilities as an ongoing service to support effective service management, risk mitigation, cost optimization, and informed decision-making.

Required competencies and certifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline

Minimum 8 years of experience in Service Asset Management, Configuration Management, CMDB, or related fields

Strong knowledge of ITIL SACM, asset lifecycle management, data reconciliation, and governance frameworks

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM, CMDB, and Discovery; familiarity with Device42 or ManageEngine is advantageous

Proficiency with Power Platform tools including Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI

Good understanding of technology risk, audit, and regulatory requirements in a financial services environment

Demonstrated stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills to drive cross-functional initiatives.
