Location: Marymount
Working Hours: 3 Shift including weekends and Public Holidays, any 5 days
Salary: Up to $6000
Our client is a healthcare organisation providing specialised palliative and end-of-life care to patients and their families. They are looking for a compassionate and committed Staff Nurse to join their nursing team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic nursing care to patients with life-limiting and advanced illnesses
- Assess patients’ conditions and monitor changes in their clinical status
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Manage symptoms and provide appropriate nursing interventions
- Support patients with pain and symptom management, personal care and activities of daily living
- Work closely with doctors, allied health professionals and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Communicate with patients and their families regarding care needs and provide appropriate support
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records
- Participate in care planning and contribute to continuity of care
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety and nursing standards
- Provide emotional and psychosocial support to patients and their families where appropriate
- Participate in other nursing-related duties and quality improvement activities as required
Requirement
- Min Diploma / Degree in Nursing
- Valid SNB and BCLS
- No experience required as training provided
