Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of buildings and identify defects or maintenance requirements
Support the maintenance and upkeep of structural, architectural, plumbing and civil works
Coordinate preventive and corrective building maintenance activities
Liaise with contractors and service providers on maintenance and repair works
Monitor the condition of walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows and other building areas
Maintain service reports, work orders and relevant facilities documentation
Provide basic facilities management administrative support for maintenance activities
Follow site safety procedures and support compliance with applicable maintenance and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Services or a relevant engineering discipline
Basic understanding of building maintenance, civil works or building systems
Able to coordinate with contractors and work effectively in a site environment
Responsible, organised and willing to learn
Relevant building or facilities maintenance experience will be advantageous
