Assistant Production Supervisor | Rifle Range | Up to $3700 + Bonus | #5252

Period: 1 year contract (Renewal/ Convertible)

Location: Rifle Range Army Camp (nearest MRT: King Albert Park)

Working Hours & Days: Mon to Fri (7.30am to 5.15pm)

Salary: Up to $3700 + Completion Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

Performs system integration and testing according to work instruction or procedure and test plan

Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to production schedules

Lead and mentor a team of production assemblers and test operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of productivity, quality, and safety

Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce waste

Manage production stores inventory

Track and analyze production metrics, such as yield, and cycle time, and take appropriate actions to achieve performance targets

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment for all employees

Practices good housekeeping at all times in the work area

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Engineering/manufacturing, or a related field is preferred

2-3 years managing production staff and processes, includes supervising, planning, and directing production to produce quality products

Ability to train and motivate line employees to achieve production goals

Proficient in MS office

Proficiency in using manufacturing software systems, such as manufacturing execution systems (MES)
