WORKS TRAIN MANAGER

Job Summary

Overall in-charge of the Contractor's entire Works Train (WT) operation across the project, responsible for daily operations, personnel management, and compliance with the Authority's contractual and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and take overall responsibility for the daily Works Train operation as specified in the Contract.
• Maintain the required management and operational personnel throughout the contract period without vacancy.
• Interview and assess all proposed personnel together with the Officer-in-charge.
• Ensure personnel are adequately trained, qualified and deployed according to the duty roster.
• Submit organisation charts, resource planning information and monthly manpower reports.
• Handle incidents, escalations and disciplinary matters relating to Works Train personnel.

Requirements

• Diploma in an engineering discipline (or equivalent) with minimum 5 years' relevant experience in Works Train operation or railway construction.
• Strong leadership, people management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to prepare management reports.
• Able to work independently and be on-call for operational exigencies.
