Sales Coordinator – Marine Industry

Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to support the commercial team within the marine industry. The role will involve coordinating sales activities, managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations and ensuring smooth communication between customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Support the sales team with daily commercial and administrative activities.

Handle customer enquiries, quotations, sales orders and follow-ups.

Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Prepare quotations, sales proposals, reports and other relevant documentation.

Maintain accurate customer records and update the CRM/system.

Follow up on outstanding quotations, orders and deliveries.

Assist the sales team in developing and maintaining strong relationships with shipowners, ship managers, shipyards and other marine customers.

Coordinate service appointments, deliveries and other operational requirements where necessary.

Monitor sales orders and ensure customer requirements are communicated effectively.

Provide general sales support to ensure the smooth running of commercial operations.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Maritime Studies, Engineering or a related discipline.

1–3 years of sales coordination, sales support or customer service experience, preferably within the marine/shipping/offshore industry.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Customer-focused, proactive and detail-oriented.

Comfortable working with quotations, orders and commercial documentation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM/ERP systems is an advantage.
