Early Years / Infant Care Educator (Jurong West / Serangoon Garden)

Job Responsibilities

Plan and conduct developmentally appropriate learning and caregiving activities.

Create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children.

Observe and document children’s learning and development.

Implement appropriate classroom management strategies.

Ensure children’s health, safety, hygiene and well-being.

Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with families and caregivers.

Work closely with colleagues, families and community partners to support children’s development.

Perform routine caregiving duties in accordance with established standards.

Uphold the Centre’s vision, mission, values and professional standards.

These responsibilities are condensed from the key tasks stated on page 1 of the JD.

Requirements

Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education: ACEY

ECDA-certified/recognised qualification for the relevant level; Need to have LON.

Passionate about working with young children.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsible, adaptable and a good team player.
