Kitchen Assistant

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic  Kitchen Assistant  to support our kitchen operations. This role focuses on food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting the chef in ensuring smooth kitchen workflow.

Our restaurant maintains a  strict no‑pork, no‑beef, and no‑alcohol policy. We are committed to offering a menu that aligns with our values and customer preferences, ensuring a respectful and inclusive dining experience for all.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kitchen Support

Assist the chef in food preparation, cooking, and plating.

Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients as directed.

Handle dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing of kitchen equipment and utensils.

Restock kitchen supplies and ensure proper storage of food items.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards.

Perform adhoc tasks assigned by the chef, such as preparing special dishes, assisting with bulk orders, or supporting catering setups.

Operations Support

Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties.

Ensure proper waste disposal and cleanliness of kitchen areas.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards at all times.

Comply with company SOPs and service guidelines.

Teamwork

Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Be flexible to assist in different kitchen areas when required.

Communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues.
