Investment trainee (Fresh Grad)

Financial Modeling & Valuation

Build and maintain financial models (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions) to evaluate potential investment opportunities.

Analyze financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to assess the financial health and historical performance of target companies.

Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to stress-test investment assumptions.

Market Research & Analysis

Conduct macroeconomic, industry, and sector research to identify emerging market trends and investment themes.

Monitor and track existing portfolio companies, drafting regular performance updates and risk assessments.

Gather data from financial terminals (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet) and compile it into structured internal databases.

Deal Execution & Reporting

Assist in the due diligence process for new investments, collaborating with legal, tax, and operational teams.

Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and presentations for the Investment Committee.

Participate in earnings calls, management meetings, and industry conferences, taking detailed notes for the team.
