Job scope:
Demand Planning
Maintain the master global demand schedule to provide clear long-term production visibility.
Analyse historical sales, seasonality and market trends to develop rolling 12-month demand forecasts.
Consolidate, review and validate monthly forecasts from international markets and regional distributors.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to incorporate promotions, tenders and seasonal demand fluctuations.
Monitor forecast accuracy metrics such as MAPE and Bias, conduct root-cause analysis and improve forecasting models.
Supply & Production Planning
Translate consolidated demand forecasts into Master Production Schedules (MPS).
Develop monthly production and packaging schedules for internal manufacturing facilities and co-packers.
Optimise production runs and factory capacity while minimising line changeovers and meeting market delivery requirements.
Manage safety stock allocation across regional hubs and rebalance inventory based on changing market demand.
Optimise inventory levels while considering product shelf life, slow-moving stock, obsolescence and write-offs.
Lead and facilitate S&OP alignment discussions to resolve demand and supply gaps and minimise stockout risks.
Material & Constraint Management
Partner with Procurement to ensure raw materials and packaging materials are available according to production requirements.
Incorporate operational constraints such as raw material availability, fishing seasons, plant maintenance and public holiday shutdowns into supply planning.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage supply constraints and ensure continuity of production.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, International Business or a related discipline.
3–5 years of hands-on demand / supply planning experience, preferably within food, beverage, perishable FMCG or manufacturing environments.
Experience supporting regional or international markets is highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of demand forecasting, production planning, inventory management and S&OP.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Working knowledge of ERP / supply chain planning systems such as SAP IBP, Oracle or equivalent.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret demand and supply data.
Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across international markets and cross-functional teams.
Adaptable and comfortable managing changing demand, production constraints and supply fluctuations.
