Database Administrator (Oracle, Manufacturing)

Manage and maintain Oracle database environments supporting critical semiconductor production systems, ensuring high availability, performance and data integrity.

Monitor database health and capacity, troubleshoot incidents and performance issues, and provide Level 2 support including on-call coverage.

Execute database installations, upgrades, patches, migrations and production changes, including failover, backup and disaster recovery testing.

Maintain robust backup and recovery processes while supporting database security, audits, compliance and operational documentation.

Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve database reliability and minimise production disruption.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

At least 4 years of relevant experience in Oracle Database Administration, supporting critical production environments.

Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture, database administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery and high-availability environments.

Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL, with working knowledge of Linux/Unix, filesystem management and Cron jobs.
