Job Summary
Join Index-Cool Marine & Industry as a Procurement Executive to lead sourcing, contract negotiation, and supply chain management within the marine engineering (HVAC) sector, ensuring timely material availability and supplier performance.
Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms
Manage end-to-end procurement processes from order placement through delivery to ensure supply chain efficiency
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material demand and maintain timely availability of resources
Coordinate with forwarders to arrange incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring smooth logistics operations
Monitor supplier performance through regular assessments and maintain strong supplier relationships to support business needs
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures to uphold operational standards
Execute additional procurement-related duties as assigned by management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in engineering industries, with proficiency in marine (HVAC) sector
Strong negotiation and communication skills demonstrated through successful supplier engagements
Mandarin language proficiency to effectively liaise with suppliers in China
Familiarity with Globe 3 software and Microsoft Office Suite to support procurement operations
