Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare bill of quantities for tendering of subcontract packages including sourcing out of subcontractors/suppliers

Handle contract negotiations with subcontractors/suppliers and prepare subcontract agreement

Handle cost monitoring, adherence to contract specifications and drawings

Prepare payment certificates of subcontractor

Evaluate and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreement with subcontractors

Prepare variation orders and reconcile with the client’s quantity surveyors in accordance to the contract agreement

Prepare monthly progress claim to client and assist in preparation of cashflow forecast for submission to client

Coordinate changes in plans with design team and review the potential variation claims to client

Provide assistance with either the tender process or project execution

Job Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying/ Civil Engineering or other related field

Minimum 3 years of local working experience in Civil and Building projects

A good team player with good initiative and positive work attitude

Able to work independently with minimum supervision
