Introduction

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented  Senior Compliance Advisor to support in maintaining and strengthening the Company's global AML/CFT and sanctions compliance framework for TripLink’s licensed payment institutions. The role sits within the AML Compliance team, responsible for performing independent quality assurance reviews on AML operations and financial crime controls, providing regulatory advisory to business and operational stakeholders, supporting payments licensing and governance initiatives, and contributing to the continuous enhancement of AML systems and controls.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including AML Operations, Product, Legal, Risk, and Technology, to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions, including Hong Kong, Singapore, and the European Union. This role also supports regulatory engagements, financial crime investigations, policy governance, corporate secretariat activities, and enterprise-wide AML/CFT initiatives, while promoting a strong culture of compliance throughout the organisation.

In this Role, you’ll get to

Conduct ongoing Quality Assurance (“QA”) reviews on AML Operations work (e.g. customer due diligence, transaction monitoring and name screening alerts) to ensure adherence to HKMA, MAS, and EU regulatory standards.

Prepare QA review metrics for periodic reporting to Senior Management.

Provide regulatory advisory to internal stakeholders (e.g. AML Operations, Business) to address AML/Sanctions risks and new product risk assessments.

Review internal suspicious activity escalations and prepare SAR/STR reports for MLRO’s review.

Participate in the enhancement of transaction monitoring rules.

Coordinate global AML training roll out to all employees and prepare training materials.

Collaborate with Compliance, Product and other stakeholders to support new regulatory license applications external audits, and global policy governance.

Support the MLRO with the implementation of the company’s AML/CFT framework.

Manage corporate registers for the TripLink entities and act as Committee Secretary for board and compliance risk meetings.

What you'll Need to Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance or Business, with at least 3years of financial crime compliance working experience in licensed payment institutions, corporate banking or audit/regulatory environment; CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) certification is a plus.

Familiar with Singapore Payment Services Act and financial crime regulatory requirements, including MAS Notice PSN01, Sanctions regulations Knowledge of HK and EU regulatory requirements is a plus.

Good understanding of controls on transaction monitoring, sanctions/PEP/adverse media screenings and corporate customer due diligence.

Fluent in both written and verbal English. Mandarin speaking is a plus due to business need for communication with stakeholders based in different jurisdictions.

Highly organised and analytical, with the ability to interpret complex transaction patterns and able to make sound judgement.

Capable of managing multiple workstreams independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient Excel, SQL or Data Visualization skills will be an added advantage to work with technology teams to drive implementation and optimisation of system controls.
