Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Our esteemed client in the Environmental Services industry is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team:

Employment Type: Permanent

Position: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Location: Tuas (Transport provided)

Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm; Sat, 8am to 12pm) – Will change to 12 hours rotating shift after 3 months

Salary Package: Up to $2,700 + OT + Shift Allowances + Transport Allowance

Job Responsibilities:

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to ensure smooth and reliable operations.

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment to minimise downtime.

Perform servicing, overhaul, and maintenance of pumps, motors, blowers, fans, and other plant machinery.

Install and commission new equipment while ensuring proper operational performance.

Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and daily work logs.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company standards.

Job Requirements:

At least NITEC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, process plant, or industrial environment.

Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Willing to work 12-hour rotating shift after training.
