Accountant (Semiconductor/ Construction)

Our esteemed client in the Construction industry is seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic team:

Employment Type: Permanent

Position: Accountant

Location: Woodlands (Transport Provided)

Working Hours: 5 days, Office Hours

Salary Package: Up to $6,000 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

Handle the company’s financial and management accounting functions, including month-end closing and management reporting.

Prepare annual budgets, revised budgets and cash flow forecasts.

Liaise with banks, external auditors and tax agents.

Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards and manage XBRL submissions.

Handle GST reporting and tax computations.

Perform financial analysis and investigate fluctuations in the P&L and balance sheet.

Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.

Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.

Supervise and coordinate the work of accounts staff.

Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

At least a Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.

Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably from semiconductor or construction industry.

Prior experience in an audit firm would be advantageous.
