Trademark Executive

Job Responsibilities:

Managing client's Trademark portfolio;

Filing, prosecuting and maintaining trademark applications up to grant;

Coordinating trademark filings in Asian countries, e.g. Singapore, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei, etc.

Advising on strategies, courses of action and costs to clients;

Reviewing Examination reports and drafting response to Office Actions;

Conducting trademark searches and providing opinion to clients

Job Requirements:

A degree in Law / Candidates of the Certificate of Intellectual Property (GCIP) course are encouraged to apply

Proficiency with computers (should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel)

Experience in Trademark work would be an advantage although not essential (Training will be provided)

Good time and task management skills

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Self-starter with good self-discipline and minimum supervision
