Porter

Responsible for the handling and safekeeping of guests’ luggage on arrival and departure, the delivery of messages and parcels for in-house guests, and storage of guests’ belongings.

To welcome guests from driveway to Reception for check-in, and to direct guests to their room when necessary.

To provide accurate information/assistance to guests’ enquiries/requests.

Ensure that all incoming and outgoing luggage are efficiently and promptly handled according to SOP.

Assists in loading and unloading luggage to and from vehicles.

Keep the lobby furniture in its proper place, cleans ashtrays when necessary, remove litter and newspapers

To deliver packages, incoming faxes, messages to guestrooms as well as internal department efficiently.

Co-ordinates with Front Office for transferring of luggage from rooms, control room keys to avoid skippers and unsettled bills before releasing any luggage.

Ensures that the driveway is clear and all vehicles stop or park in designated lots.
