Senior Executive, Human Resources
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: $5,500
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
Working Location: Sin Ming Lane, Singapore
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Executive, Human Resources to support a broad spectrum of HR functions, with a key focus on compensation and benefits, payroll, salary benchmarking, HR policies and performance management.
The successful candidate will work closely with regional HR and business stakeholders to support effective HR operations and policies across different markets.
This role is suitable for an HR professional who possesses strong analytical and numerical capabilities, is comfortable working independently, and has practical hands-on experience in compensation, payroll and HR data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation, Benefits & Salary Benchmarking
Conduct salary benchmarking and market research using compensation surveys, recruitment market data, industry reports and other relevant sources.
Analyse salary data and market benchmarks to assess competitiveness and internal equity.
Support compensation reviews, salary adjustments, promotions and annual increment exercises.
Prepare salary comparisons and compensation analyses for new hires, existing employees and internal movements.
Support the development and review of salary ranges, job levels and compensation structures.
Prepare compensation proposals and supporting analysis for management review.
Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling salary and compensation information.
Payroll & HR Operations
Support and/or process payroll activities accurately and within required timelines.
Handle payroll processes involving both manual calculations and payroll/HR systems.
Adapt to different payroll systems and processes used across various markets.
Verify payroll information, employee data and relevant payroll adjustments.
Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, probation, confirmation, internal transfers, promotions and offboarding.
Maintain accurate employee information and HR records.
Prepare HR reports, dashboards and data analysis as required.
Performance Management
Coordinate annual and periodic performance management cycles, including goal setting, mid-year reviews and year-end evaluations.
Support performance calibration exercises and prepare relevant HR data and reports.
Track completion of performance reviews and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
Support probation reviews, confirmation assessments and performance-related documentation.
Analyse performance data and support the linkage between performance outcomes, compensation and promotion decisions.
HR Policies & Governance
Support the development, review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and guidelines.
Conduct periodic reviews of existing HR policies and practices.
Research applicable employment practices and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and processes.
Support the standardisation of HR policies and practices across different teams and markets where applicable.
Maintain proper HR documentation and policy records.
Talent Acquisition & General HR Support
Support end-to-end recruitment activities across assigned functions and markets.
Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and candidate profiles.
Coordinate interviews, offers, reference checks and onboarding activities.
Support salary recommendations for new hires based on experience, internal equity, market benchmarks and approved budgets.
Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers.
Support regional HR projects and other organisational initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within an HR generalist or HR operations capacity.
Hands-on experience in payroll processing, including familiarity with both manual and system-based payroll processes.
Practical experience in compensation and benefits, salary benchmarking, compensation analysis, salary reviews and/or annual increment exercises.
Experience supporting performance management and appraisal cycles.
Good understanding of HR policies, employment practices and employee lifecycle processes.
Regional or multi-country HR experience would be advantageous.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, particularly for HR data analysis and compensation comparisons.
Experience with HRIS, recruitment platforms and/or compensation benchmarking tools would be advantageous.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail.
Able to handle confidential and sensitive HR information professionally.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
Practical, solutions-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
